I love Kunafe so much. I was in Jordan last year and there was this place called Arafat Sweets that had great Kunafe. If I lived in an Arabic country I would eat it every day!

No, i do not make my own kateif dough, i just get it from the store, its good and makes the making process much easier. <br />even if you do not have nabulsi cheese, it works out with other type of cheeses that melt and taste good.<br />You have no profile on blogger!

We love konafa here too. But it&#39;s called like in Greece Kateif ... LOL strange. We make it up nuts. I made Lebanese style konafa and my family raved. I wish I had this Nabulus cheese to try, I&#39;m sure it&#39;s interesting. Do you BTW make your own kateif dough? Old tradition ... forgotten by many LOL!

Summer, this is one of my favorite desserts. I've made it a couple times, but I find it hard to find the right cheese here. The last time I made it I bought a cheese that said it was for kunefe, but it turned out salty and ruined the taste. I've found mozzeralla to be the best for this as you've also used it.
