Sadly, ending hunger world wide would be a dream to be realized yet. It might never end as long as there is greed and hunger for money, power and economic control brought to our world by Globalization.

كنت اعمل على وصفه جديده لنشرها هنا, لكن في احدى تصفحاتي للنت اليوم شاهدت هذا الفيلم الوثائقي . الفيلم مؤثر ويلمس المشاعر الإنسانية بشكل كبير . احسست انه من الضروري ان انشر عن موضوع الفيلم الذي يتحدث عن الجوع والفقر نتيجة للعولمه التي اجتاحت عالمنا، وأصبح لا مفر منها. أنا شخصيا لست ضد العولمة، ولكن أعتقد أن التوازن في تطبيقها يزيد من منفعتها العامه.
قررت اليوم أن اشارك هنا بوضع رابط لهذا الفيلم لجميع متابعين هذه المدونة وزوارها على أمل أن تكون مشاهدة الفيلم محفزا للجميع بأن يقوم كل منا بدوره في المجتمع للمساعدة في تخفيف اعباء الجوع و الفقر والمعاناه بدءا من البيت. خطوات بسيطة نعملها للمحافظة على الموارد لدينا واستعمالها بحكمة، مثلاً المحافظة على الطعام و الماء, أو المشاركة بالثروة كل على قدر استطاعته, مهما كان نوع المشاركه. أتمنى أن يقوم هذا الفيلم بتشجيع الأفراد بالتطوع في مجالات مختلفة لمحاولة القضاء على الجوع والفقر في بلادنا. بأعتقادي ، مشكلة الجوع والفقر في العالم بعيدة جداً عن إيجاد حل لها، طالما كان هناك طمع لا حدود له للمال و السلطه و تطلع كبير لتحقيق قوة اقتصاديه لا تقهر من بعض الدول والأفراد. اترككم مع مشاهدة الفيلم

I have tears in my eyes Summer.
You know when I came to the USA, I used to work in a buffet restaurant.
They throw the rest from the buffet EVERYDAY, it hurt me inside, I was always thinking " Oh my God, there are people dying everyday from hunger, if only we can give them that, believe me, it breaks my heart each time I look in the garbage, and that was everyday.

Kifik Habibty, I watched this movie and its about nutrition and the amune system and cancer and eating healthy, and its more than 90 minutes long... Its very interesting but its not the one you are talking about, I think y ou want to talk about the chicken story right???
I clicked twice on the movie and what i got is the eating healthy moving which is very interesting movie by the way and very educational.
I didnt got the chance to write earlier and let you know...

I'm a mom to and too (two adult boys) and to tell you the truth, this you tube brought tears to my eyes! There is SO MUCH hunger on this planet and in essence, the planet is rich and could easily feed each and every one! It is all around us - all we have to do is LOOK - and do something!

Wow. That's really sad. 25,000 people die everday...Thanks for sharing the video. I thought it was really nice. It's Laura by the way. Rana's second cousin. We met during eid. I was going through my stuff and I found the website. It's really nice. Nice job!
Wow!!!! I know that people starve all over the world but it's different when you see it. I can't even imagine what it's like to live it. I try very hard to not waste food. I'll even eat when I'm full because I hate the thought of wasting it. I really do honest to God think of starving kids everytime I'm thinking about wasting some.
That family thanked their God before they ate!!! They were eating SCRAPS and they thanked God for it. I am disgusted with myself because I don't do that nor have I taught my daughter that. Night before last we ate T-Bone steaks, homemade mashed potatoes and a delicious salad. And we didn't appreciate that!!!!!! Those kids were SO happy to get those scraps.
Most american children have the option of wasting food. Some parents even make their kids a seperate meal if their kids don't like what's for dinner! Those babies were happy to eat garbage.
That's why America is the ways it is. We're spoiled, and pampered.
No wonder why foreigners have such character, personality, and kindness! They look at life totally different. They appreciate everything and have nothing.
We appreciate nothing and have everything!!!!!
