Lamb Filled With Parsley-Garlic Pesto-لحمة خروف مع بستو البقدونس و الثوم

It has been a very busy time for me and it was very hard for me to keep up with posting on my cooking blog. I miss it and I miss my readers. I managed today to post a recipe with a video too. This is a meat dish that is hearty and delicious but at the same time, it is an easy dish to prepare that will make your guests think that you spent the whole day cooking it. The dish is a simple dish and has few ingredients, meat and parsley pesto sauce with few other vegetables. Serve this dish with a side of mashed potatoes or cooked rice.
Ingredients:
3 KG Lamb shoulder or leg
Salt, Black Pepper, Allspice, Cardamom
Parsley Pesto:
1 bunch Parsley
Few cloves of garlic
Hot chillies, optional
Olive oil
Salt, Black Pepper

Prepare your pesto sauce as normal using parsley and the rest of the ingredients.
wash the meat, make small but deep slits in the meat, and fill the slits with pesto sauce.
spice up the meat and spread the rest of the leftover pesto on the meat.
Bake in the oven on 500 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours. Make sure you add water to the pan as it is baking so the meat stays moist and nice.
Half and hour before the meat is done, add any vegetables of your choice such as broccoli, mushroom, onions, carrots, or any other.



٣ كيلو جرام لحمة خروف من الكتف أو ألفخذ
ملح, فلفل اسود, بهار و هيل (حب هان)
صلصلة البستو بالبقدونس:
ضمة بقدونس
مجموعه من حبات الثوم المقشر
فلفل حار (أختياري)
زيت الزيتون

الطريقه:
أفرمي مكونات الصلصه في ماكينة الفرم حتى تصبح متجانسه
اغسلي اللحم و افركيه بخليط البهارات.
بسكين حاد اغرزي فتحات صغيره و لكن عميقه في اللحم
أحشي صلصلة البستو في الفتحات ثم افركي اللحم بما تبقى منها
ضعي اللحم في الفرن على حرارة ..٥ درجه فهرنهايت لمدة ساعتين مع أضافة بعض الماء لها كلما نقصت لكي لا تصبح ناشفه.
قبل الأستواء بنصف ساعه, أضيفي اليها اي انواع خضار حسب رغبتك مثل البروكلي, الجزر, المشروم, البصل أو غيرها.

that looked amazing and really simple. I just have to say that I usually add pine nuts/walnuts to the pesto mix along with Parmesan cheese. Also, I don't know how hot you like your food, but that much habanero peppers would have burnt my whole digestive system! :)

Actually Pesto is any veggies you mix into a paste with any addition of other stuff to it and olive oil...so, this parsley pesto does not have any cheese or nuts in it...i would imagine walnuts would go well with it but not cheese...it is just a simple pesto sauce, mainly parsley and olive oil...of course the hot stuff is optional...not too many people like hot stuff..but the one that i made that day was a hit and everyone loved it...my family and guests love spicy food and it went well with the other stuff i served next to it.
YES, you are right about the music, i like her music and i wanted to use it on my "logo" as a start and an end to my videos. Thanks again!
