Stuffed Bell Peppers-

This recipe came to life when I was spending the day at my sister's house, Dunia. She had purchased a lot of green, red, yellow and orange bell peppers, they were almost going bad...She had some leftover rice and some cooked ground meat, so thinking what to do with all of the ingredients, this recipe came to mind and it was created by Dunia....It turned out great!

Ingredients:
Bell Peppers, any color
leftover cooked rice and cooked ground meat
Tomato Sauce
Water
Sliced Onions

Direction:
-Empty the bell peppers from the seeds.
-Mix the precooked rice and precooked ground meat. Add a little on tomato paste to it.
-Fill the bell peppers and cover with the tops
-If you have extra stuffing, stuff zucchinis and tomatoes too, it adds to the flavor of the dish.
-Place the stuffed vegetables in a baking pan.
-Add tomato sauce to the dish and add little water.
-Season with salt and black pepper
-Bake in a 400 degree oven for 50-60 minutes, until the sauce is done and the vegetables are cooked fully.

Enjoy hot or at room temperature. Enjoy!

Hello, great blog! I've been thinking lately why Arab women don't food blog and that they should. I love how your blog is bilingual, I have been planning on starting my own and I think I'm going to make it bilingual too.

Your recipes all look great. Keep up the great work :)

Yasmin, thanks for your nice comment about my cooking blog, i really appreciate it.
there is a good number of cooking blogs out there that are created by Arab women from all over the middle east or beyond...most of them are in one language,Arabic, English, Portuguese, French and others..i started blogging in English but thought of translating the recipe to Arabic because i got a lot of requests from Arab readers, to make it easier for them to understand the recipes...i also added Arabic to my cooking videos too, and to the tags of the recipes and videos which makes it easier to find through many searches.
If you have the interest, i think you should start a bilingual cooking blog, to add to the collection of blogs out there, would be so useful.
thanks again and hope to hear from you soon about your upcoming blog.
